Sushruta’s pioneering work in surgical techniques and his holistic approach to medicine laid the foundation for medical practices that combined technical expertise with compassion and ethical conduct.
In line with his legacy, the ASF-Sushruta Mentor Program is designed to guide MBBS and Nursing students, helping them cultivate not only clinical proficiency but also the empathy and ethical responsibility essential for excellence in healthcare. This program is dedicated to producing future healthcare professionals who can uphold the highest standards of medical care and contribute positively to the medical community and society.
With 28 MBBS and 10 Nursing Mentees and 8 dedicated Mentors, providing them with personalized guidance to refine their academic, technical, and ethical skills. Through focused mentorship, students develop both the proficiency and compassion needed to excel in healthcare. This program ensures that students are equipped to make a lasting impact, following Sushruta’s legacy of skilled and caring healthcare professionals.
