The ASF-Charaka Mentor Program, named after the ancient Indian physician and the “Father of Medicine,” Charaka, honours his contributions to Ayurvedic medicine. Charaka’s work, particularly the Charaka Samhita, remains one of the foundational texts in the practice of Ayurveda, emphasizing the holistic understanding of health, wellness, and disease prevention.
In line with Charaka’s legacy, the ASF-Charaka Mentor Program aims to guide students in the Pharma field, helping them develop not only technical knowledge but also an understanding of the importance of mental and spiritual wellness. This program nurtures students to become well-rounded healthcare professionals who can contribute to a holistic approach to healthcare and make a lasting impact on the industry.
